Hi! I just wanted to say hi to Joel and great job at finding out what ailerons are. They are the flaps on airplane wings that cause the airplane to go up or down. He found the answer on Wikipedia. Do any of you know why airplanes are important to the Iditarod Race? I am sitting at dinner right now with one of the teachers who was lucky enough to go on a flightseeing tour of Denali.
