Iditarod 2010 at Wealthy is Getting Started!

My 23 third graders have been looking forward all year to the Iditarod and it is finally here!  Each child has finally been assigned a musher to learn about and track during the race.  And, best of all, they are getting to use netbooks right at their desks to do this research.  I am so proud of how quickly the students are figuring out these little computers and how well they are finding their way around the official Iditarod website.  What a great start!
